Preserve your treasures

Welcome to the care instructions page for your unique oddities and taxidermy from TradgedyAnn Art Studio. We want to help you keep your new acquisitions in pristine condition for years to come.

Caring for wet specimens

Wet specimens require special attention to ensure their preservation. The most crucial step is to keep them properly submerged in fluid. All wet specimens need to have liquid added periodically. The correct solution is 70% alcohol. This helps maintain the specimen's integrity and prevents deterioration. Always handle with care to avoid spills or damage.

General care guidelines

Many of our customers often ask about common care practices for their oddities and taxidermy. It is essential to protect your items from environmental factors that can cause damage over time. Do not place your items near heat sources or in direct sunlight. These conditions can cause discoloration, drying, or other forms of irreversible damage. For wet specimens, if the fluid darkens over time, simply pour it out and add new 70% alcohol. If the fluid evaporates, replenish it with fresh alcohol.

Important don'ts for longevity

To ensure your unique items from TradgedyAnn Art Studio last for many years, there are certain things you should absolutely avoid. Do not place your items near heat sources or in direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure can degrade materials and cause fading. Never consume any part of the oddities or taxidermy. These items are for display purposes only.
